GRM works together with national leaders in Cuba and Mexico:
ABC Children’s Academy
Puebla, Mexico – In 1962 GRM established the Agricultural Bible Center (ABC) to train pastors, evangelists, and community leaders. Today the Centro Agro Cultural (CAC is the school’s identity in Mexico) provides Christian education to nearly 200 children from Pre-K through High School.
Casa Alto Refugio (High Tower of Refuge)
Puebla, Mexico – Alto Refugio (see Psalms 18:2) is dedicated to personalized attention for abandoned children from the street as well as children whose parents find themselves imprisoned or who have forsaken their children completely. GRM was honored to grant the land, originally part of ABC’s campus, to establish this desperately needed home to reach these kids in Pueba.
Casa Alegre (House of Joy)
Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico — The Casa Alegre orphanage provides a safe and secure place for children who have been orphaned, abandoned, and abused. Because all children deserve to be loved, encouraged and nurtured, our friends and family at Casa Alegre dedicate themselves daily to providing great care for these wonderful kids. This is the love of Jesus in action.
Good News for Cuba
Sancti Spiritus, Cuba – In 1953, Paul & Vera Northrup began a church in this central province of the island and called it Iglesia Las Buenas Nuevas (The Good News Church). Paul registered the church in Cuba as a religious association in order to include the various missions in nearby towns that sprang out of the church. From 1959, through the early, difficult years of the new Revolutionary government, other independent evangelical churches joined the Buenas Nuevas — Good News Association. Over the years, God has blessed this denomination and today it continues to flourish, with 70 churches and more than 100 house churches, covering nearly every province of Cuba.
